Hey there everyone,

A family here at the church has donated 4 pairs of SkySox tickets to TITUS.  The seats are 3rd row behind the visitor’s dugout.  Here is the deal I will offer to you guys:  everyone who brings a friend to TITUS will get a pair of tickets (until the tickets are gone, of course).  The first pair of tickets is for a game next Tuesday (May 6th), so those will have to be given away this coming Sunday. 

Don’t forget to sign up for the high school cookout at my house on Friday, May 30th.  This event is for all current high schooler as well as all 8th graders.  Please let me know if you plan to come so I will know how much food to buy.  I’ll provide the burgers and hot dogs and I’ll assign you guys to bring the sides and desserts. 

I’ll be putting together the summer calendar this week, so keep your eyes open for it.

Sunday, May 4th:

          10:10-10:45  Sunday school

          2:00-3:15      TITUS band practice

          3:15-3:45      ESILE band practice

          4:00-6:00      TITUS

Sunday school meets on Sunday mornings from 10:10 until 10:45.

Both high school and middle school TITUS groups meet at the church from 4:00-6:00 on Sunday afternoons in the Titus rooms.

We have decided to open up acolyting to youth in 6th and 7th grades this year. They will be allowed to carry flags and banners until they are confirmed (which usually happens in 7th grade). Teens must be confirmed to carry crosses or torches. Please email Pete Minck if you would like more information or to sign your child up to be an acolyte. His email address is pminck@comcast.net
